How do chips and timing work?
Every question costs 100 entry chips. Wrong answer: 200 extra + 100 entry = 300 chips lost, at any speed. No answer: entry only. Correct players share the pot. For timed questions, weight = 1 / (1 + 0.15 × gap/40), where gap is seconds behind the fastest correct answer, capped at 48 seconds. A 40-second gap gives the fastest a 15% larger share; the maximum difference is 18% before whole-chip rounding. Same rule for every timer. Pauses do not count. Untimed correct answers share equally.

Window focus changes alone never disqualify you. On desktop, hiding the quiz page during a question can disqualify you, even after answering. On phones and touch devices, hidden-page events need host review because calls and system controls can cause them too. Pauses suspend checks. Websites running alongside a visible quiz cannot be reliably detected.
The quiz page was hidden, or the host confirmed a hidden-page report. Answers and future entry charges are disabled. Your balance stays visible, but you cannot receive a final rank.

Answer timing & no-time-limit mode
Everyone starts with 10,000 chips. Entry costs 100. Students choose a bet of 100–1,000 chips after reading. The maximum risk is 1,100 per question: entry plus bet. First correct wins the full pot, whatever their bet.
Untimed mode removes all stage deadlines. The host advances each stage. A correct answer still wins immediately.
Choose enough time for your questions. During a round, use Pause, +30 seconds, or Close & reveal. Pausing temporarily locks answers.
Import questions from .tex
Use one question block per question, four options in A–D order, one answer letter and an explanation. Maths inside $…$ is preserved. This is a structured text format; full LaTeX documents and custom macros are not supported.
Download .tex format & exampleCurrent and completed questions are preserved. A valid upload is parsed and saved automatically. An invalid upload leaves the saved list unchanged.
